We are a small but busy specialty veterinary practice and are seeking a full time receptionist to join our team.
We strive to offer clients a boutique experience. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and dedication to servicing our clients their beloved pets and our referring veterinarians.
There is a focus on medical record keeping, reading and translation of referral veterinarian communication by phone and email. Client communications including greetings, information gathering, and admits and discharge from care. There are additional office duties such as ordering supplies and various administrative projects.
The ideal candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills, be computer capable, able to use word, excel and powerpoint as well as learn our medical software, be able to process monetary transactions, and maintain office equipment.
The candidate must be able to adapt to projects assigned and perform duties in a timely and professional manner.
Experience in the veterinary field a plus, some animal handling will be required.
Basic medical knowledge and terminology is required.
